Hi
This is my first night/sunset shot of with my new Olympus c750uz I'm trying to getting better at shooting these kind of pictures....Please critique .... How can i make it look better? Are the mountain too dark? THanks settings on my camera aperture priority, f8.0 1/40 iso100 |

The shots are fine but the trees to the left in the first two shots are distracting. Good color in the skies. Perhaps a shade more exposure would bring out some of the details in the mountains. I like the tones in the first two...the last one is a bit too dark--either go darker to silhouette or lighter to bring out some details.

oh man...couldn't you have used your 80,000,000 watt flash with you to light the mountains??!?!
haha jk nice shots ![]() i agree with henry about the trees....sometimes it adds a lot to a picture...sometimes it doesn't work.....the colors are gorgeous...but i think a little brighter exposure would've showed the mountain better...but that's ok nice shots ![]() Vito |
