I did this one later. Auto focus didn´t work and I couldn´t see the stones. I focus to infinite and the stones are out of focus. Exposure 2 minutes, f22, iso 800. I am surprised by the light of the horizon. I didn't see it.

i really like this one as well!! great shot.. the stones out of focus does not bother me.. the colors look great and the light on the horizon is nice.. you may want to crop a little bit off the right hand side of the frame as it is darker than the rest of the scene and looks out of place..
i must ask again about shooting at ISO 800.. what reason did you have for not using ISO 100? ------------- dustin www.hardwickphotos.com |

It was on a great stone pulsing with my finger (I don't still have cable). Two minutes it was already an eternity. The next thing I´m going to buy is a remote control.

Very nice shot again - regarding your high ISO, why don't you use a lower F-stop? Maybe F16 or even F12. What focal length were you shooting at?
In this type of situation, I bring a torch to help my camera auto focus. If I've forgotten my torch I use my cellphone as the light source. Finally, what noise reduction program did you use because it has done a fantastic job, also, what camera? |

I tried to have maximum FOD. When I returned through the dark beach (about three miles), I used the cellphoto to illuminate, then I thought, why I dind´t use it to focus?. KM 7D maybe 20mm and I have used noiseware community. This is the zone.

At 20mm F16 should be enough to give you DOF throughout the picture, but with the quality of the noise reduction, I suppose a high ISO issue isn't that much of a problem.
