Night Shots of Albufeira Portugal

I took these pictures about 2 weeks ago whilst having a spring break in Portugal. All shot at F5.6 and 30 seconds (about 2 times camera metering). Did some clone tool on the sky, contrast adjustment using curves, sharpened then compressed to JPEG. (Needed some saturation adjustment after compression to get the JPEGs back to looking like the TIFFs).

I love these cobbled pavements and roadways made from small stones

I do not do many night shots but went for a walk around midnight and took these. Any comments appreciated.

personally,. i like all the pictures but i think you overdid it in letting too much light come in.
picture number 2, i think was okay with that kinda light setting but the rest, in my opinion would have looked nicer on a darker more romantic tone. ... i think

Thanks berto - I think your right, they are too bright. I have adjusted the last 2. The part of the beach with the boats was flood lit, I was exposing that one to capture the buildings on the distant hills.

The above is closer to how the actual scene looked - problem is if I make them too dark, then the detail is lost, especially the shot with all the cobbles. Hope this is better

I think these two are much better darker. You can't please everyone! :)
