You are right (as usual), the lightspots should be removed.
And it WAS quiet at the time, very calm and extremely... peaceful... only a few birds in some trees, and a pair of ducks swimming to the right of the picture.... if you have ever heard a Storspov/Numenius arquata/Curlew (the name in swedish/latin/english), you can add that sound too... edit: this is the Curlew http://www14.xdsl.ne.jp/~pika/mp3/daishaku1.mp3 although that one must have a slightly different accent than those here in sweden ![]() |

Thank you.
It was taken right next to our summer cottage here in Västerbotten, by the river Umeåälven, I think it was around 01.00 a.m.. f/8, 2sec, 105mm, raw lossless. |

I like the picture. Quite a lot... wish I was there.
The audio clip helped put me there, thanks. |

took some more photos the same night, one sunset and one with the ducks... not the same "feeling" as the first one with the kind of depressed, calm feeling. But still, decent photos, or what do you think? I have done nothing with the colors, only adjusted the overall levels.

I like the blue one. Everyone can see you added the blue - but hey - it works great. The ducks and the mist goes well!

actually i did not add any blue... but i over did it with the levels... and i think +5 on contrast.... unfortunatly I had to take it at ISO 800, so it's pretty grainy (i hate this), and even 48bit tiff could handle my very rough levels adjustments, the printout is horrible...
if you want to you can check with the original raw-picture, no color was added or removed |
