It was hard to manual focus and darn cold too.

I shot just above the boat also but liked this one better.

I shot at F3.5, 8 sec, 1000 ISO

18 mm (27 equiv.)

Set black point with Nikon Capture (Raw) and slight curves adjustment.

I hope you saw this Tom O.

Very impressive indeed! So nice to have the benefit of other eyes in other places to show us what we're missing. Great work, and thank you for sharing with us. Same thoughts for Wisconsin girl...Best regards,

Oh, you are my hero!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you have a wide angle lens? I've been reading that most people who take a lot of these shots use nice wide angle lenses.

Thanks for the kind words

I used a Nikon D70 with the kit lens

It is equvalent to a27mm film lens at wide angle

Fabulous shot, Steve! Unfortunately, I missed the show. I had a gruelling rehearsal in Windsor, and I guess I was just too tired to look up the whole way home. :(

(BTW... you might want to check out Theatre Alive's production of EVITA! at the Cleary in March. I'll be directing the orchestra in the pit.)

Once again, outstanding work!
