Hi John! Your right it really does look other worldly everything had that eerie cast to it. It was quite warm for a November evening and hardly any wind as we were out walking, that just seemed to add to it somehow. Heck, even my wife was saying how pretty it looked, and mind you my wife is usually saying oh no do we have to stop and take photos!

bob,
you have a great exposure on the sky here.. which is just gorgeous.. but your foreground is kind of caught between a silhouette and just dark... you may go full silhouette here and then crop generously off the bottom... this will put your horizon quite low in the frame, but for this shot, with this sky, i think it will work quite well.. ---------- dustin http://www.hardwickphotos.com |

Hey Dustin! Thanks for the observations! I think this edit may be close to what you are thinking. I am very happy with it, it's pretty cool how a photo can look so different with just a little tweaking. Thanks much!
