Kex,
I wont post anything of our warm beaches, sunny shores, and green mountains... very nice shot and perspective of obviously a very cold place. Mele Kalikimaka |

I like it Kex.
And Selvin, remember, some of us actually like the cold weather, especially when there's snow! |

Kex, that's a gorgeous photo! I love the way it's so sharp in the foreground that you can see the tiny grains of snow, and then it ever so slowly softens until it reaches the trees.
Selvin, I agree with Joshua. As a matter of fact, I prefer winter to summer. I love the look of snow and the sound of it falling, love the crisp smell of the air, love the way the stars shine brighter. I'm not overly fond of skidding off the road, but that's such a small thing. And just look at the vision snow has given Kex and which he, in turn, has given us. |

I think the popular opinion is that most of us Continental U.S. dwellers like to fly south for the winter. I feel blessed to live in the North East where I have four distinct seasons with their own moods and activities.

thank you very much everybody for your kind comments on the pic!
Concerning the winter itself: I don't mind having snow and cold weather. I love the summer, too, but it's good to have a certain variety of weather. The only weather I don't like are rainy days. Snow is okay, sun too, and especially snow AND sun. That's really nice to take photos. (Remember: Due to the snow on the ground, the sunlight is reflected once more and it's brighter outside, so you have  faster shutterspeeds. :!: ![]() ![]() |
