Huntington Beach Pier provides some foreground for this sunset over the Pacific. Taken with a Nikon D50 dslr and Tamron 24-135 lens.

Oooooo.... that's a truely cracking shot, great sunset, nicely composed, and even that low flying bird in the foreground as well. Definitely a two thumbs up picture!

Thanks for the kind words guys. This was my first time to visit California. The weather was terrific, and I can see why many people move to the area. I hope to visit it again andhave more time to drive further up the coast.

I don't know much about that area but I can understand why some move to Northern Ca. I spent a couple of months up north a few years ago and it is beautiful country.
