Couldsomeone tell me what filter if any,I shoulduse to minumise the haze on the hills? Thanks.

A polariser would help a little, actually even a skylight would probably help a bit (it cuts out UV reflected off the water vapour), but really when the weathers like that there's probably no magic bullet solution.

So probably the best advice is to embrace the conditions and look for moody images or closeups.

Thanks John, I'm a happy snap photographer wondering how the experts get those fabulous colours! (learning how to make my photos actualy 'artistic' could take a little longer!)
