Here is a three-shot panorama of Trilium Lake and Mt. Hood in Northwest Oregon. For perspective, Mt. Hood is about 50 miles south of Mt. St. Helens and about 50 miles east of Portland. This was stitched in Paint Shop Photo Album 5. The individual shots were taken today with a Nikon D100, Sigma 28-70mm zoom, tripod.
Note--I actually shot four shots in the sequence but the stitching function couldn't handle it. I eliminated the second shot since it contained information that was present in the other shots. ![]() Cal Rasmussen |

very nice reflection and colors here!
ok, i have a challenge for you.... come to this spot...for sunrise, or sunset.. that's it ![]() and, if only those trees on the right were deciduous, you'd have quite a shot opportunity! nice job on the stitching! i can only see one minor error...there's a "ghost" of the one guy a little to the left of him (the one in the blue shirt), btw...i LOOKED for artifacts...so...good job ![]() Vito |

These pictures were shot about 4 PM. If I had waited another hour or so, I would have gotten the golden color.
I had to really look to see the ghost. Looking at the center and right shots, the guy moved from one rock to the next. This is only my second panorama and I am still learning. Cal |

stitching them manually is very hard (lol, i tried once...and decided i'd like photostitch take care of it from then on ![]() you did very well...like i said, i looked very hard for artifacts of the stitch, because i had to look hard to find any...and i only found one anyway.... so that'll show you how well you did ![]() Vito |

Cal, this is a fine photo. You did an excellent job of composing and exposing the image. I have never done any stitching, but after seeing this great shot, I may have to give it a go.

It sure is a fine job!
And the scenery is fantastic! I don't know if it is an artifact or not but to the left of the mountain just above the tree tops there is a vertcal line. Is it a tree or is it the place where 2 pics were stitched? But it captures my attention nevertheless because of its beauty! Well done! ![]() |

wonderful shot, Ive never even tried stitching, I don't think my abilities there are very good. My Hubby does nottoo bad a job though. This is a lovely looking place too, somewhere I'd love to visit some day.

Henrik, I looked at the original photos and that vertical line is there so it is not an artifact of the stitching. I don't know what it is. It might be a radio antenna.
The stitching is relatively easy in PSPA5. You just select the pictures to be included, arrange then in proper order, left to right and the program does the rest. You can control things like blending method, perspective, and size of the final image. Cal |

Nice shot Calr.
I did a similiar shot in July up there. http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...hlight=Mt+Hood It is funny how different our shots are of the same mountain. |
