I don't know much about taking pictures. But we pulled over in this spot and i snapped a few pics with my Canon... i thought this one came out pretty well.

The pictures from a technical standpoint is good. i.e. colors, contrast etc.
However, since you did ask for comments, it would have been even better if she has looked at the camera and smiled. Right now it looks as if she posed reluctantly. I assume she wasn't reluctant.

oh i see what u mean. Actually that was just the one i picked out of a bunch and i think i caught her with her head down, but i liked it because i was thinking it made you kind of think what was going on,,,like a story could have gone along with it. i modified it a little here,,just playin around.. i'll include one other that wasn't bad either...

I hope you don't mind...

I liked the last one the best! :) Now why i asked "hope you don't mind?".... Tweaked it just a bit... applied some Unsharp Mask and the got rid of a couple of the more distracting background things like the windmill....

well honestly.... i dont really know how to use that program to well. Its all pretty new to me so i am just experimenting... the clone tool was pretty easy to use... i figure i'll start messing with all the different tools to see what they actually do now..

nope, dont mind at all.. thanks for input

Yep, Photoshop and the like can be overwhelming if you try to master it all over night... And you'll find their are many different way to get the desired results!

Saginaw,

The fix looks quite nice esp the cloning out of the windmill.

This looks much bettre as if she has an attitude that's actually quite attrictuve.
The only minor point I thought might be fixed would be to level the car it looks like you're on an incline.

Mr_Saginaw Feb 28, 2004 7:06 AM

hmmmm... the car is on an incline and the horizone is level... But if you crop out all of the forground it's not so noticable...

Wow. I like what Mr. Saginaw has done to your photo. Your girlfriend is very beautiful, and I have an overwelming desire to buy a Mercedes.

Ah, the power of photography.

Mr_Saginaw Feb 28, 2004 2:03 PM

It's a good photo to start with... just a couple of minor tweaks until JRB gets the hang of it...

Great looking girlfriend, especially with the attitude pose and a nice looking automobile... in a beautiful setting... Nice job JRB! Looking forward to seeing more! :)
