hi guys and gals.....well starting to play, experiment with my lil trusty fuji S3000 and i wondered how much "blur" i can get on moving water so here is a auto shot and a F8,2 shot, Quite a noticable difference

personally i like the second one better. basically because the blur of the water makes it a better pic....but i'm very open to objective views etc, As I'm still very much a newbie in digital photograghy and the use of ps 7, But keeping a very open mind on others opinions

so what were the auto settings, what F stop???

aladyforty, i have actually no idea what the F stop is on auto, But according to the handbook it comes with these settings, Auto , F2.8, F4.8 and F8.2, with a shutter spd if 1/2 to 1/5000, So i'm hoping that will help, the pics where on 2 meg as well
and vito in answer to your dark question..........yea it was a very overcast day and where thearea is situated is in a park reserve whhich is surrounded by big hills |

I love the silky water alway's. Shutterspeeds of arround 1/20seconds should allready do that a bit. Greetings, Frank |
