![]() ![]() I took this last night while I was heading up once again to Elbow-Falls. I have past by this pond quite a few times but never stopped to take a closer look till last night when I saw this reflection. This was taken with my 750uz with a polarized filter and wcon07 attached to it. ![]() |

tk,
I'll be the sourpuss, it doesn't strike a chord in me. May be too abstract. Keep shooting. Aloha |

I like the reflection of the clouds in the pond. They almost make the pond look as if it has a mist over it.
![]() For me, the sun is a bit too bright (my eyes almost water looking at it). Nice shot, though! |

I don't think it'll win any competitions but I quite like it and it's certainly dramatic.

It looks like a beautiful setting. As mentioned before, the sun seems to take away the attention from the beauty.
hmm.....I wonder if it would be better shot just after sunset? |

It looks like a scene out of the movie 'What Dreams May Come' with Robin Williams.
Borderline abstract but, I like it ![]() -=- |

I just thought it was an interesting picture, nothing really more or less.
I agree that the sunshine was a little much and takes away from the rest of the shot. I was hoping to catch the sun behind that ribbon of cloud but didn't quite make it out intime. I just had to get a couple shots out there since the water was completely mirror flat which I had never seen before when passing bye. This area is usually quite windy since its in the foothills below the mountains. I hope to head out there some more in the coming week since I get 9 days off work starting saturday before starting school again. ![]() ![]() |
