Just to annoy Brian (he must hate the sight of this)
This was taken through a fence at full zoom using a TCON-17 at ISO400, f3.7, 1/350. This has only been resized. |

Nice, Cold Snail.
The TCON-17 is certainly an essential for photographing wildlife. Granted your bird here is enclosed, but it's very hard to get in close enough (even wtih the Kodak's 10x zoom) to get good shots. Regards, Tom, on Point Pelee, Canada |

Frankly, I think the picture is for the birds. Oh, that was a "cheep" shot. This is definitely not a mynah league photograph. It is simply incredible. I am jealous of your talent and your TCon-17 which I don't know what it is. It sounds like an ingredient in cough syrup.
But I digress. This picture is just simply amazing. I like it so much I have looked at it about a dozen times and the bird hasn't moved an inch. Thanks for sharing this and your other marvelous photos. Fred |

Thank you for the kind words.

Fred. The TCON-17 is an Olympus add-on lens which gives x1.7 magnification, so in the case of the 6490/7590 it increases the range to the equivalent of 626mm. |
