This is a vertical panorama of two shot stitched together with Panorama Maker.
It has been taken from the Top Station of the Cableway. The bottom station is the black part were the cable ends. The black line is a road while the stuff around it on the left are hotels. P.S. : - perspective correction - cropping - dominant color removal ( shots have been taken behind a greenish glass ) - automatic levels - automatic contrast - burn tool brush on several parts - sponge (saturation mode) tool brush on the sky The blurred area on the right is due to a spot on the glass ![]() |

Great pic! You were very brave taking that one!! Is it really that steep or is this an effect produced by the stitching?

Wow, that is the first time I can remember seeing a panoramic shot vertical and not horizontal. If I seen it before I didn’t notice it. Really nice shot.

Brtsergio, thank you for sharing! If it was me that took it, I would be making arrangements to have it enlarged and framed for hanging on my wall. Is most of the ski terrain on the back side of the mountain? If there is skiing down the front, the snow cover looks thin.

Thanx for your kind comments.
JoshuaB, no skiing on the front part of this mountain. Actually you can see how it looks like in the post "Reaching Sass Pordi ..." http://www.stevesforums.com/phpBB2/v...852&highlight= So, unless you have a parafoil, no hope. However , what you see in the middke are real skiing slopes ! |
