Hello everyone!

This photo was one of my favourites when one evening the sun was setting across the bay near Pylos (south west Greece) where I stayed for my honeymoon last month.

I've gotta thank Bahadir for his lovely sunset across the waves post, which gave me the courage to post this. Not in a competitive nature, just displaying the variety and unique beauty each wave and sunset has!

Dear Paul, that's again a good representative of your tasteful compositions, which wesee even more often after you returned fromhoneymoon:-)

However I saw some noise in the image (although shot at ISO 200 which is only a fraction of your camera's superb ISO performance!) So, I simply applied some anti-noise. Hope it works!

Just beautiful! The dark water and dark-appearing sand captures the same mysterious quality as Bahadir's photo. Such a beautiful part of the world. I'm glad I can visit, at least via the Internet and your wonderful photos.

Bahadir,

Thanks for your anti-noise edit! Reminds me of the slogan of Ghostbusters: "who you gonna calll?" Well, if noise is around, I'll let you know and you can "bust" the noise away!

The reason a few of my recent posts had noise is because I did the edit on my other (laptop) computer which: a) doesn't have Photoshop on it so I do the edit in ACDSee which easily lets noise creep in, b) the screen is not so good, so it's hard to tell when noise is there c) I was in a rush (using work lunch-breaks!) doing the edit.

So there you go... the reasons! I just sometimes think it's better to post when I can (not always go internet access otherwise apart from some days' work-breaks) even if they are a bit "noisy".

Thanks for looking, editting and appreciating!

Thanks also for looking, MsPuck! Glad you liked the photo, and it's colours / qualities!

Indeed, it's great that we can view and "visit" other parts of the world via this forum! It's great to share, isn't it?!

Cheers

Paul
