Major drout here in N. Texas. A month without rain. Temperatures well above average (60-80 degrees). At least I can get out and take some shots. This taken this morning with Canon 20D, 17-40L, RAW conversion.

Real sky filler. Haha...makes my stomach churnat the thought of taking the ride.

You have hadrain as recent as a month ago?? I have been noticing a lot of trees are putting out leaves and pastures turning green. Don't know where they are getting enough moisture for that.

well, Walt, you can have some of ours! we've had 27 straight rainy days, on track to break the record set in 1953! here's what "wet" looks like... :G these were taken in a rural area a little east of Seattle... in the first one, you can see the little bridge across what's normally a small, marshy creek. the water's over the road on both sides of the bridge...

here's that same "small, marshy creek" now... just turned to my left 90 degrees from the above to take this shot.

this is a pasture a few miles away... normally just a grassy field...
