John/ Bob, thanks. Yes its an awesome place.
Ronin, yes these pics are from Lake Louise (first one) and from Lake Moraine (the other two). These lakes all are within the Banff National Park and is just outside the town of Banff. Banff by the way is about an hours drive away from Calgary going west towards Vancouver on the trans Canada highway. |

Nicely done mariods. That scene there must have been shot a million different times over the years-and it never grows old. I have a painting of the same scene done maybe 60 or 70 years ago, that I inherited from my Grandmother, and I never grow weary of looking at it. Cheers.......thekman.

Are you following me around Banff and Lake Louise? My shots are similar and from some of the same areas.

mariods,
"FANTASTIC" shots. Did you use an extra wide angle lens to get all these Greatviews in your pictures? How did you set up the Coolpix 5700 for such shots, which settings, scene mode, Auto, Aperture, etc, etc? The reason I ask so many questions is I am a rank beginner and who better to ask for help than someone that can take such wonderful photos. Thank you for sharing and thank you for your time. divertwo |
