What a great sky, the yellow light and 'cool' grey/blue clouds. The amount of interest in the foreground is interesting too.

Thanks for sharing your part of the world.... aka 'Nya Varvet'. It looks very picturesque.

How far is this from your home?

Paul,

Yes, couldn't belive my eyes, so I followed my usual on-the-spot procedure in such cases; closed my eyes for some seconds and looked again - the same colours

The eyes gradually get used to a gamut so in fact the colours were even stronger. Checked with the CR2 file when we came home

"Nya varvet" means "New Ship Building Yard" and has a "chequered" history, As long as in the 50ies and 60ies it was a naval base. Now there is a plethora of small businesses, firms. More civilized :-)

A lot can be said about the location

I often follow the river until it disappears into the very broad mouth and into the sea

Take care

Torgny
