Early on a June Sunday morning in Victoria, B.C. The island on the horizon is one of the U.S. Gulf Islands.

It looks very quiet and peaceful there. You can almost hear the sunday morning silence.
The foreground seemed very big. I wonder if you had gone lower and gotten a little closer to the sand and stones if it would have given the viewer more of a prescency?? Would that be right? |

Sound engineer - it might well have been good to have done as you suggest, but I'd have had to climb over railings and down a sea wall or else find a longer route - and my car was just behind me in a 'No Parking' zone!
Gimli - it's on Beach drive, a few yards north of the Oak Bay Marina. By the way, the camera was our old 1.5 megapixel Leica Digilux zoom - same as the Fuji 1700MX I think. |

Gimli - Well, isn't that a coincidence - for about 6 weeks, one summer, several years ago , we rented a house on the corner of Estevan and Beach Drive!!!
