Hi All ..... just new to the digital photography thingand new to this forum! ..and trying out my new D70 with a Sigma 70-200 EX . Took this Hand held at 165mm F11 1/800sec ISO 200 ......just seeing how the detail and exposure range holds up ! ......any feedback greatly appreciated ....

Ah yes Kits Beach... I will definately be going there lots this summer, well hopefully depending on time and girlfriends schedule.

Welcome to digital land. Well, there's one pet peeve of mine about water type pictures and that is that the horizon "water" must be level. Otherwise the water pours out of the image, gets my keybord all wet, and if my pants and socks get wet I'm really ////.

Ok, now put the cam on 'spot' meter and meter the sky so as to get beter exposue and not that gray drab sky. Level the photo and KEEP SHOOTING!
