Sunset in the Smokies

here they are! not as spectacular sunset as the sunrise the next morning...

but pretty good

wat do you think of the compositions of these two?

i think the photographer in the second adds to it, but i had him positioned dead center on the bottom in the original, i cropped the left off of it..it had another tall tree in it...but was cropped out....i'll post it if you want to see it..i think it's better with the crop though...

I like the first shot better than the second - it's pretty good!

On the second shot, I'd start from the uncropped version but I'd crop it differently. I'd do a horizontal crop on it, cropping off the top portion halfway down through that darker cloud that sits above the sun. That's just my personal taste and YMMV.
