Fellow Internationalists!

Commenced "Im Schönen Monat Mai"; continued the First Day of June

The Sylvias are a family of so called Song Birds. Learning the binominal/national/local names of trees, plants and animals is essential/existential. Not doing so shows disrespect for Life itself.

Learning the binominal names is to be preferred as it makes it easier to communicate between parts of the planet, not only between states, but between nations with different people(s) and languages

More inormation on these infatuating little birds

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_World_warbler

(You might wonder about the etnocentricity in the label after the last slash in the URL)

They express themselves by singing; not by extravagante colours. They can be extremely hard to discover (as seen in the below picture) and if so, it is hard to distinguish between the different species. Their song though, makes it very much possible to to discriminate between them and hence learn their names

Bird X sings Y. Listen... My idea of a Paradise would be where birds come to you and sit on your shoulder

- "Hello, Borin, how are you today. Hi, Atricapilla, what's up"

Your antediluvian, post babylonian highbrow on the Internet

Well, what they really express by singing is self confidence in protecting their territory, like a smile in a broad sense

Thank you, musket. This is one of the very few photos I think I really have succeded with. Often the little Fuji gives better pictures than the other cameras
