Thanks Vito! the edges are blurred because of movement, it was a really windy evening.

What I like is the noise-free background. That's about the time of day that my camera (dx6490) starts to get a little noisy. I can usually tweak it a little, but there gets to be a point where it can't really be hidden.

Tom, thanks for your comments. I would imagine that all digicams have noise problems, specially in high iso. However, a careful application of neatimage can do miracles.

absolutely beatiful and noise free. I didn't even notice that the palm limbs were blurred till I saw Vito's comment, but it seems to add to the picture.

thanks mdparker!i took the photo while the palm branches were moving on purpose, in order to have that blurred effect at the edges.

Looks like a postcard from somewhere beautiful. Great job. I love twilight and night shots and experimenting with them but my camera gets "noisy". what is neatimage?

It is a program you can use to clean up the noise in you images so that it not there or not as noticeable. If you have Photoshop, I believe they also have it as a plugin.
