It was taken last year at a place called Botanical Beach, its on the West Coast of vancouver island and is a pretty rugged place.
When the tide is out there are hundreds of volcanic rock pools full of sea life which is one of the main attractions of the bay. Phil |

Is it past the lagoon (esquilmalt(sp)) or much further down the coast?

Its about 1.5 hours from Esqualmit. Next to Port Renfrew on the map of Vancouver Island.
