This shot was taken from my driveway looking east just after dark. The specs of this picture are:
  • Shutter Speed: 25 seconds[/*]
  • Apeture: 6.3[/*]
  • Exposure Compensation: +2/3 stops[/*]
  • ISO: 200
The only thing I have done to this picture was to resize it to a more intenet friendly size.

I think the picture is overexposed. I would cut the exposure time back to about 15-20 seconds. This would reduce the flare on the lights and darken the sky. Also, way too much sky. I crop out about the top 60% of the picture.

For me, I think the sky give something to this shot.Without the star and the cloudy stripe in the darky blueish sky, this image would be just a bunch of uninterested houses.
