Quite a sizable post this (180k) but it was important to see the detail in the foreground. The washed out look is intentional. Hoping to give a slight sureal feeling to it. Do you like it?

Nice shot. The "surreal" effect seems to be mostly a function of the wispy clouds in the air and the lighting on the tower. If it were me, I might have chosen a horizontal composition, or at least one slightly less stretched vertically, since the tower is already so strong a vertical element.

Really, really good. Nice strong composition with good saturated colours. Also agree with Norm, scope for showing a bit more width to emphasise the foreground even more.
