Another one

Looks like you had some tricky lighting there.

I like the first one a lot: the colour in the water is just great. Composition looks a little chopped off at the top maybe, but I'm guessing you were trying to avoid a blown out sky ?

Regards, John.

Thank you for the comment.

It was a bit tricky day as far as the lighting goes. But for the first picture, I was actually trying to concentrate to the lower end of the falls. I've went to this place numerous times and I wanted to focus to something different this time.

I have another picture that didn't get cropped on the top. I'll show you later.

I agree with John on these 2 pictures. Maybe a nd filter or even a graduated nd would help.........thekman.

I agree with you thekman. I've been wanting to buy a ND graduated filters for a loong time. Just been too lazy to go! That filter is definitely on my 'shopping' list. Thank you.

Another waterfall...

The last one you have just posted is definately your strongest pic.

I really struggled with waterfall photos until I bought a polarizing filter. If you didn't use one here, I suggest getting one. It will also allow slightly slower shutter speeds, but not as much as an ND filter.
