Ned, there's actually a boat with people on it in #1. It appears as a blue-gray blur on the far right.
Subhs, I appreciate it that you find my shots good. There was a time they weren't. At the time I thought they were flawless and worth building a gallery around for but people here found all kinds of flaws. Still I persisted and now I enjoy taking pictures a whole lot more.
Daniel, it was fast getting dark so I managed to take only a few shots. I wanted to take pictures of the path that leads to the lake. The lake actually makes a dramatic appearance when you come out of the tunnel-like winding path darkened by a dense canopy of trees. All of a sudden you see light at the end of the tunnel and right before you is the lake.
jelpee, there's another boat to the right of #2 with people on it. I tried not to aim my camera at them (to give them privacy) but the boat in #1 paddled into my frame. Maybe they wanted me to take a picture of them
