A fair bit of photoshop on this one for colour and contrast.

It's monochrome-ish but didn't look right in B&W.

The original had only slight noise, but the NR gave a luminous effect to the moss which I kinda liked. Hope I didn't overdo it.

20D, EF 70-300 DO IS USM, @70mm, f6.3, 1/125s, ISO800

P.S. My wife noticed you are from London and wondered if you would send her a photo of Sir Elton Johns home if you ever pass that way. She is his biggest fan here in the states.

Greenish monochromatic yes, but the green I think helps make the image stand out.

Bob, I'll see what I can do :-) - I didn't know he had a house in London.

Peter, yes in B&W there was no way to distinguish between the green trees and the brown trees, so although it's a bit artificial in terms of saturation it's the best compromise I could find. It looks better in print than in JPG form, a little less "pushed".
