For those that need to know, the camera is a Konica Minolta Dimage A200 with UV filter only. Settings - F 3.5, ISO 50, and 1/400 shutter speed.

very nice shots! that first peak is very odd looking, but impressive, and they all look very, very cc-c-c-o-o-o-ld!! the only thing that might have made these images better would have been a polarizer, to kick up the contrast and enhance the blue of the sky...

Squirral, for these scenery shots, would increasing the contrast setting in my camera +2, do the same thing as you recommend, or is the polarizer filter my only option?
