Doesn't look a whole lot different its kind of grainy and scanning it doesn't help.
just needed tidying up a bit. http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/.../walesorig.jpg directional sharpen, contrast, saturation and the wires removed top right and bottom left. Theres probably a few sceptics that think its a painting and to be honest I probably would if I saw it posted, but Its just the way the photo looks and the way I had to get it onto my computer that create the effect. |

I think it was more luck than judgment, I hadn't had the camera long (Nikon FM SLR) and I went camping for a week in North Wales. I'd just past my driving test and bought my first car, so I was basically just learning how to use the camera (and the car) and out of the four films I used I got about five half decent pictures.
But my driving improved immensely (some scary mountain roads up there). |

I thought I'd revive this thread. Here's one of my favorite shots. Taken in Death Valley last winter on my California road trip. I desaturated the foreground in PS

Make that two favorite photos :G. This one was obviously taken in San Francisco. I used a 5 sec exposure on my Minolta A1. Only post processing was white balance and noise removal
No more photos....I promise |

Nice to see this pic of Lauren again Craig. I don't think anything you have done comes close, maybe with the exception of the one where Mrs. Van Der Wooks is entertaining her. Like the rest of your Blog too.
