Default Stitched Panorama of Chimney Rock, Idaho Panhandle

Maybe this falls under the "modified digicam images" classification, but screw it. It's 6 seperate 2048 x 1536 images stiched together with Photoshop Elements. The finished image cropped out to 9198 x 1166. Here's a thumbnail:

Can I take this file somewhere and get it printed on regular photo paper? I'd like to have a print about 8 1/2 inches tall and roughly 5 feet wide.

Thanks,
Jim

Nice picture! I had a 29" x 6" panorama done at ezprints.com, and was happy with the price, quality, and speed. I think they only do 6 or 12 inches tall, you might need to give them explicit details about how you want it printed.

Hmmm? I was kinda hoping some place like Wal-Mart could do it. The file is over 6 megs. Will EZ prints accept a file that big? I'll check them out, thanks.

So how much would a printer like that run? Is the roll 8 1/2" wide, or 11" wide? I just bought a new cheap inkjet, I'm not really into printing photos enough to warrant spending a wad of cash on it (new toys are always fun though .

Jim, i have an epson 925 and takes rolls that:

Prints up to 8.3" x 44" for panorama photo prints
(up to 128" long with certain applications under Windows 2000/XP)

Roll paper holder for 4" and 8.3" widths with an automatic cutter

i'm sure other printers can do the same.
