I took this shot a while ago, I revisited it with some improvedPP techniques.I think it came out OK. The white in the valley below is frost, my wife and I took a climb up this "hill" to view the sunrise, and it was worth the EFFORT. :G

Soinspiring indeed...Sun rays are almost tangible like the tiny hands of Ra blessing the landwith many agentle touch. Thanks for sharing this gem

I think what makes this more than just another sunrise shot is the 3 or 4 points on the landscape where the sun is just hitting. Plus the uncaptured image of 2 people climbing the hill at dawn to capture the moment. Dedication.

Thanx, Bahadir, Bob and Joe - Joe, it WAS a mean climb to the top, maybe 500 meters up, but worth every step.

For those interested, there is a photoshop action at

called "Paint with Light" [NOT version 2] which is quite an amazing action to highlight selected areas, and darken shadow areas,works much better than dodging and burning.
