Hard to believe this is in Central Park :-) Looks more like Upstate NY :-)

Chris! Interesting photo of NY!! Reminds me of some London parks that were a "haven of nature" amongst the great city around it (I lived there for over 5 years)

Wow, I love it. Great colours and you've done well with the tricky exposure.

Shame the foreground part (much of the water) is in shadow, I almost missed the boaters first view round... but hey, you can't do much about the SUN can you?!

Great you posted the photo from the tower too, to see where it all is (in perspective to the city!) Cool

Thanks Paul! :-) If I remember correctly I think I metered off the sky just about the trees. I agree with the shadow I also missed the boat. Guess I have to go back and retake the pic at a different time of the day :-) I have more pics of Central Park, think I'll mark up my areal view so you guys can tell where we were :-)

Whaa brings back nice memories , from my visit to NY

know the feeling first walking on time square than to the park and it,s hard to believe your in NY the park is so nice
