I took this straight after work on Dec. 18th, 2006. Sunset looking east towards La Jolla Shores from the swimmers cove. Its been a little bit rainy and very cold this week.

Let me know what I did right or wrong!

You've captured an unusual sunset, actually I think you could do a littleppon the sea using Levels at PS to bring more of the compelling colours..

I was standing on a little peninsula outcropping of rock. There was not a cloud in the sky to the west so the sun had a straight shot to light up these storm clouds to the east.

Bahadir - I'm afraid to change the water myself. I think we must have some different settings between our monitors and I'm not sure how dark it looks for you. It looks just the way I want it to on my calibrated notebook and LCD monitor. It does look much too dark on my work CRT, although that one is not calibrated.

Feel free to do any PP to illustrate, if you care to.

Looking at the image now at night time again, it seems quite allright! You know, at daytime things tend to seem a bit darker on the monitor...Thus, my edit does so little difference that it is not worthy of posting
