I love desert landscapes (already being a fan of Drewaz's shots in his respect!)andI appreciate your tryingdifferent point of views other than5.5 ft high (i.e. a human'seye level

The foregroundlooks a bit overexposed to me but could easily befixedvia burn tool at PS. You might have avoided this alltogether by metering atpotential highlight areasat center weighteed or spot meteringmode and recomposing your framebefore finally pressing the shutter.
