It is an unusual place to spend some time. This B&W was shot using an 029 filter like Ansel Adams use to use to block the blue light and make the clouds stand out. It worked pretty well but it is imposible to see what it is going to look like until you get it on the computer for post processing.

That's a great shot Bill: interesting about the filter, I was about to compare the image to Adam's work, and now I know why :-) Well seen and composed though to get the right effect too mind you! This would look great printed large on some nice art-quality paper.

Thanks Bahadir and John! John that stream pic is awsome. I am going to continue to play with some of the other filters Adams used in his work as B&W is something I want to play with in the digital world. So far I find it challenging.
