Last night, we had an ice storm. This morning, the sun came up brightly, and the sidelighting made a million tiny prisms of the frozen drops. This picture is a poor attempt to show thatbeautiful display.

Barbarian!

I can imagine (!) your feeling when you saw the branches. I´ve tried myself to catch "the imaginary"(?) but never really managed the way you did with this picture

As much as I hate living with ice storms (driving to work on icy road, power lines freezing and breaking, falling down with every step...etc) I just feel like I am seeing nature's Winter Wonderland! Everything frozen in a shiny new glaze!! And I, too, have several rolls of film of ice storms, and none of my images really shows what my eyes saw that day!! Lovely tree!!

Ah, had it not beenfor your eloquent narration... I just remember how it looks like as the melting snowruns shiningin small brooks underthe crisp sunny sky of quietudebrokenby the birds' singing and the water'smurmuring ...

Hi,

I wish I had the way with words that you and bahadir have. I will just have to strive to acheive that elegance in pictures.

That picture is sight for the imagination. Very good!!
