Are those houses at the bottom? Jeepers i think they are, that must be one mother of a rock! :?Great shot as usual drew. Makes me wanna go 'meep meep'

One of the things that always strikes me about these photos is the vastness for a lack of a better word, of the area. We have flat fields for miles with nothing to compare to the grandness of anything like this.

Thanks Dan and Bob for taking a look. Yep, those are houses. Sedona is a town of about 10,000 and the neighborhoods surround the rocks. It's an interesting area.

Bob, you always find the greatness in your neck of the woods. I am amazed at the pictures you post and the emotions they elicit. I think you are one of the few that really SEE rather than just look.

That is quite a contrast to some of the shots you have posted of that area. Snow can surelyenhance a scene.

How nice to see the snowy version of the very locationwhose summer sights I admired so much!! I only found the strong highlights in this impressiveimage a bitdistracting, so I did some highlight healing. Hope you don't mind
