Default Colours of a Landscape

Here's one I've had for a while. Though I would crop a section of it and enhance the colours. Does it work for you?

Thanks for looking
Martin.

Hi mpaul73,

I like the top 2/3s of the picture (from the bottom of the group of trees and up), vivid yet still pleasing.

lovely... dont enhance the colors... i think its perfect as it is... it would be over-saturated if done more (I think)

I agree with LCohen.

It'a a very nice picture. I like both the framing and the colour mix.

IMHO the sky part should be made a little bit more realistic though :
1) Sky clouds seem to be a little out of scale with respect to the landscape. They look to be bigger.
2) The photo grain in the sky is not of the same size of the picture grain : it looks like the sky has been enlarged from a different source.
3) If you look at the shadow direction (south-west if top of the photo is north) you notice that the top of the hills are sunny even if the above clouds are very near to them.
4) borderline between hills and clouds has some artifacts.

I love it personally.
It is clear that all is intentially so I look at it in that viewpoint and than I love it.

Frank
