Ollie,

This is a beautiful picture. The clouds. You can almost touch them due to the 3D-feeling you get

This is a beautiful shot. I love doing sunsets, although I admit I am still not very good at them. I was in Albuquerque New Mexico this weekand and was looking forward to taking some there but my flight got in over 9 hours late and I missed my chance. Is this picture you posted local to you or is this a vacation photo?

Many thanks for the comments everyone.

This small lake is in the southern suburbs of Canberra, about 5 minutes from my home. Just to the left of this shot on the far side of the lake is a large suburban shopping centre (you can see it in sunset #2 - http://www.stevesforums.com/forums/v...amp;forum_id=8. I've tried photographing the lake from different spots and in daylight with not much success as there is too much visible civilisation around (houses, roads etc) which spoils the view.

Cheers,
Ollie

I linked over to your other picture and I think I like that one as much or possibly more. The colors in the sky and the cloud formation just draws your eye from one side of the photo to the other. Very nice!
