Default Skyscape, Nightscape, or Escape?

I'm not sure if this image belongs in this forum, but it seems to be more appropriate here than the others. Taken last night (7/3/03) during an orchestral concert in the Yukon, OK city park put on especially for the local veterans. A very nice evening with some wonderful music.

Hi, Ward;

Haven't seen such a clear sky since my Minnesota/Dakotas prairie evenings. With that tiny moon you really capture the feeling. The tent looks very inviting.

I checked out your website pix. Loved the yellow-crested night heron in profile. With the reflection, that's an awsome shot...my favorite.

Couldn't help from showing off my goose, taken right here near NYC.

Wow, the goose is amazing.

The dark really is captured well ward, I love the small moon at the top.

Greetings,
Frank

Walter and Frank,

Thanks much for your nice complements. I always appreciate that.

Walter, I love your "Honker" shot. They put on quite a show when they get upset, don't they?

The "tent" is actually a huge gazebo. Last night (the 4th) it hosted the Oklahoma City Philharmonic Orchestra, along with a headliner singer from the recently closed Les Miserables' from your city (Broadway). A night to remember!

Once again, thanks for taking the time to comment.

Plain garden variety of Canada Goose, now actually overrunning the NYC suburbs. Flying South for the winter now means going from White Plains, NY to Yonkers. :?

Those geese take over our campus every fall and spring here in Northern Illinois. I have some rather nice shots of them but they are on 35mm, and I have no film scanner. You won't be getting any shots like yours off of my 4x6 prints, espescially when scanned with my $80 microtek flatbed.

Oh well, I just bought a new Canon A70 and I hope to get some great shots of the canadian geese here in Illinois this fall. Can't wait to shot you the pics!
