Nice photo Gallatin. I'd be temped to crop the bottom a bit to bring the "rule of thirds" into play with the foreground hills, distant hills and sky.

Cheers,
Ollie

Gallatin,

Nice picture. It´s in the air. What happened to the trees in the foreground?

Gallatin, you opened a window in my room toone of myfavourite scenes, again! I liked the overall feeling ofrolling of the hillsalong withthe snowy clouds(like some prophecy!) from near left to distant right in your photo.

I, too, would like to hear the tale of the trees... I think it will be sad.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I believe those trees died in a forest fire. You can see how dark the trunks are that are laying on the ground. It looks like some tees burned, and some did not. The burned trees eventually get knocked over by wind on that high plateau.
