mcliu

You are very welcome. Yes, I understand and I am very happy that you posted your variants (or variations - is that the word in english?)

Anyhow, you know what I mean. Thanks

Torgny

Trogny,
Thanks for - you have excused me.I was feeling very bad after I posted the so called varient.B'coz I have no right or whatever be it to change the author creation.
But I still feel the need to explain myself:-
1- Most of the critique has to say something . So they say like "bracket", reduce the exposure valve by 1/3 so on & so on. What they do not understand is visual is more powerful medium than the word.( What they fail to understand is you are no novice in photography Frankly speaking when I take my next shot I hardly remember what they have said, except for few worthy and they are really FEW.I am sure even when you take the shot you are more worried about the shot then the written comments)

2- Now I do not wish to start a fight with "purist". What I firmly beleive - the moment you press the shutter button, you start to deviate from the reality.each stage , each process is morphed to create the better image.otherwise why the filers, aperature , shutter speed

3-They use the "wordpad" to pass the comments, I have used "PS" to pass the comment. I am sure you will remember my images ( Bad or good) more than the word .

4-And lastly there is no right exposure.Exposure is right only if the image represents what the creator has originaly visualized.
Thank you again

mcliu, don't worry about modifying the photos people post here. This is often done and is usually welcome. It is a very good way for all of us to learn.

Torgny, both "variants" and "variations" are correct terms in English.

Hi,

Part of the fun with a forum like this is that you can post variations.

Personally I get flattered when someone shows that much interest. You don´t make the effort if you don´t like the picture(s)

You have got some really interesting (photo) philosophy in your post. (Hope we can get back to it some day)

Cheers

Torgny

Wow, I love these pictures! They're all wonderfully done, but the ethereal feel of the first one really grabs me. Are these recent photos? I'm amazed there's no snow on the ground.
