This was taken in March 2005 while I was visiting the foothills of Mount Teide, the highest peak in Spain - even though it is on the Canary Island of Tenerife. The temperature that day was +20C and yet you can see the snow just above the hotel. It looks close by but the formation is aboutone kilometer behind the hotel. Cheers, Dan
