It's not as cold as it looks. It's been well above freezing for almost a week now. Maybe we'll have an early Spring this year - I hope! :-)

I really like this one. The colour of the ice, the low mist... it looks sooo cold. I visited your part of BC in September 2004 and the weather was beatiful and sunny. Coming from the temperate south, I still find the extremes of North American weather hard to fathom.

Thanks, Ollie. The weather here's pretty moderate compared to places like Winnepeg, Manitoba where they justhad a record low temperature of minus 47C.Now that's extreme! Spring and summer in the Okanagan arereally incredibleand the winters are mild, if overcast. Not having winter would seem almost other-worldly to me!
