Thanks Bob, Hit in it June or July. Sunflowers are "happy" flowers. They smile when the sun is shining and droop when it isn't.

Sunflower field as far as eye can see...a very impressive sight no wonder! Btw, it's so nice to remember Van Gogh with this occasion, Mandy: )

Amanda,
Do you call it, "sunflower field" there? I would call it sunflower sea.
Just like a sea the field ends (maybe even doesn't end) with a continuous yellow line on the horizon, and catches the sky.

I wondered how you've captured that beautiful frame. The hight of the sunflowers should not be less than a man's height.
Also will you give us a tip about, if you stand at the start point of the field.

Thank you for taking us to summer days with your photo's warmth.

Almost surreal.

Does the Wizard of Oz live around there? :-)

John.

These sunflowers were taller than me by a long shot. They stood about 6 ft tall. The field was located on a corner and ran the length of a 1/2 mile then turned back for another 1/4 mile or so. I was pretty much dead center.

Thanks to everyone else for your comments and John....I believe the Wizard was watching over me when this was taken.

Now if I could just get my Macros to turn out this well, I will be happy.....

Mandy
