Default Po River Weirs

This shot has been taken near Po River.
It is made up of 5 shots merged toghether with Panorama Maker 3.0

- equalize

How did you avoid the curving effect that often happens when you connect pictures like this? Was a tripod the solution?

Well, the only trick I used was to try keeping the camera parallel to the horizon in all of the shots.No tripod was used.

In a previous attempt to that panorama I took the shot from a different height.
I was on top of the river bank and I took all of the shot pointing downwards. When I merged the five shots together the curved horizon appeard.
No hope to correct it.
The day after I came back to the place and went down the river bank in order to take the same photo again, this time keeping the camera horizontally pointed.
It seems to have worked !
