Walter, those are really nice--subdued, subtle, and civilized come to mind--seen altogether too infrequently in most human endeavors including art.

the first one is excellent...........2nd is spoilt by the bridge into the lake.......shame cos it would have been equaly as good

The second one works for me. The pier, bridge and tree with their reflections create a very peaceful, pastoral feeling especially when coupled with the muted colors.

I think #1 is really beautiful it has the look of some of the old masters who shot nothing but b/w!
